1. About Us

LIVE PILATES Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates self-service, unstaffed reformer Pilates studios in the United Kingdom, offering premium access to high-quality equipment through our app and website.

2. Eligibility

Clients must be 18 years or older. By booking or using our studios, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Bookings & Access

All sessions must be booked in advance via our app or website.
Studio access is granted only for your booked time slot and must not be shared with others.

4. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Pilates is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. You confirm that you are in good health and capable of exercising safely.

We strongly recommend consulting a medical professional before participation if you:

  • Have any medical conditions or injuries

  • Are pregnant

  • Are returning to exercise after a prolonged break

5. Assumption of Risk

By using the studio, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with exercise, including injury or loss.
LIVE PILATES Ltd is not liable for injuries except where caused by negligence under UK law.

6. Unstaffed Studio Rules

Our studios operate without on-site staff. You must:

  • Use all equipment correctly

  • Follow safety instructions displayed in the studio

  • Exit promptly at the end of your session

Emergency procedures are displayed in each studio for your safety.

7. CCTV

CCTV operates for safety and security purposes.
Footage is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and may be used for:

  • Investigating incidents

  • Monitoring security

  • Ensuring compliance with studio rules

8. Memberships & Sessions

Memberships and single-session bookings are non-transferable. Sessions may be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time may not be eligible for a refund. Cancellation and no-show policies are detailed in the booking platform and must be adhered to.

9. Equipment Damage

You are responsible for any damage caused by the misuse of studio equipment.
LIVE PILATES Ltd may charge for repair or replacement costs resulting from misuse.

10. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items within the studio or while on our premises.

11. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for:

  • Breaches of these Terms

  • Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour

  • Any conduct that may compromise the safety or security of others

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  • Footage is automatically deleted after a reasonable retention period (normally up to 30 days), unless required for investigation or legal purposes

Liability Waiver & Health Declaration

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This Liability Waiver and Health Declaration applies to all clients of LIVE PILATES Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) using our self-service, unstaffed reformer Pilates studios in the United Kingdom.

1. Health Declaration

By booking and attending a session, I confirm that:

  • I am 18 years or older.

  • I am in good physical health and have no medical condition, injury, illness, or impairment that would prevent safe participation in reformer Pilates.

  • I have not been advised by a medical professional to avoid exercise.

  • If I am pregnant, recently post-natal, or returning after injury or surgery, I have sought appropriate medical advice.

  • I will stop exercising immediately if I experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or feel unwell.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that reformer Pilates is a physical activity with inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Muscle strain

  • Sprains or injury

  • More serious harm

I voluntarily accept and assume full responsibility for all risks associated with my participation.

3. Unstaffed Studio Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that LIVE PILATES Ltd operates an unstaffed studio.

I agree to:

  • Use all equipment correctly

  • Follow all displayed instructions

  • Act responsibly and safely at all times

No instructor or staff member will be present during my session.

4. Waiver & Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge LIVE PILATES Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from my use of the studio or equipment — except where caused by negligence under UK law.

5. Personal Responsibility

I accept full responsibility for my actions, safety, and wellbeing while using the studio and its equipment.

6. Emergency Procedures

I understand that emergency procedures are displayed in the studio and I agree to familiarise myself with them before starting my session.

7. Agreement & Acceptance

By booking a session via the LIVE PILATES Ltd app or website, I confirm that I have:

  • Read this Liability Waiver & Health Declaration

  • Understood its contents

  • Voluntarily agreed to be bound by it

This agreement is binding and applies to all visits unless replaced or updated.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
